How do I Order, using the Inviting Invites website?

Select a design from our collections

Start personalising - enter your information into our product designer. You can move our text boxes up and down and change fonts, colours and sizing.

After personalising your first product, you will be able to choose matching accessories if available within that collection.

The proof you see whilst you are personalising is an almost exact display, however upon payment our team will email a PDF proof for you to check. 

If you prefer to SAVE and come back and complete it later - select SAVE rather than complete. You can then jump back in using your Login Detail whenever you are ready

We require email confirmation from you, before we print.

How long will I have to wait for my order to be processed, printed and shipped?

For Standard online order - proof within 2 working days

For Coloured Pockets - proofs within 7 working days, as pockets take minimum of 12 days to order

For Assembly of Pockets or Layered - add 2 working days to shipping timeframe selected

For Gold or Silver Foiled Invitations - proofs within 3 - 4 working days

Plus add a minimum of 2 extra days for Standard Post delivery

Express Print & Post: dispatch will be approximately 6 working days

Standard Express Post: dispatch will be approximately 9 working days

Timing will depend on the quantities ordered and will be advised at time of order, due to the hand foiling process required

For Font changes / Design Assistance - proof available within 3 - 4 working days, then apply Postage timing

For Colour changes - proof available within 3 - 4 working days, them apply Posting timing

For Matching Accessories not on site - add 3 - 4 working days, then apply Postage timing

For Custom Design - add 7 working days, and then apply Postage timing

For Caricatures - 2 - 3 weeks allowing for illustration time, delivery 3 - 4 days after approval

What happens if my order requires adjustments to be made? 

If your order needs any adjusting - including photo replacement - please allow 2 working days for a revised PDF proof to be emailed to you - YES, we will still meet your dispatch expectations, if we have your approval to print within 24 hours of sending the proof to you.

What is your Printing Process? 

All of our products are printed on a commercial printing press using the latest in colour Digital Print Technology. We do not print on a home printer so you can be assured of a great print result.

We print our Invitations on a 250gsm to 330gsm card stocks. Card stock details can be found under more info with each design

Christmas cards are printed on 300gsm satin card stock

What is the Minimum Order? 

Inviting Invitations has a minimum order of 30 for invitations and accessories. We know that you won't need 30 for table numbers and menus so we've kept those to a minimum of 10 for table numbers and menus. Christmas cards minimum is 25 except charity cards have a min run of 50.

If further invitations or printed products are required after the first order is printed, a minimum order of 12 will apply. We are unable (due to high print costs) to print quantities of less than 12.

We do understand that sometimes invitations go missing in the mail to your guests, or extra friends turn up unexpectedly, so we recommend ordering a few more invitations than you actually need.

Do you have a retail shop, where I can come and see your full product range? :

Yes, our Sunshine Coast office in Queensland is available to visit at Palmwoods by appointment 

Alternatively, we offer free samples of our wedding invitations, christening invitations, birthday invitations, and birth announcement cards.

Questions regarding the DESIGN PROCESS:

I love your designs but my event's colour scheme is different. Are you able to change your designs to a different colour to suit my needs?  

Absolutely! For a small fee of $30 we can change colours to suit your Wedding, Christening and birthday event's colour scheme.

We have a wide range of Wedding Invitations in various colours already online, so you may find something to suit there.

We recommend printing a sample to check that the printed result colour is what you had in mind. A printed sample costs $15

What will the final design look like? 

The final design will be emailed to you for your approval. There is a check box to select stating that you have reviewed and accepted this proof, and have also read the Terms & Conditions.

Inviting Invites designers check each order, so if the photo or wording isn't quite right, we will alter the pages so they the layout is positioned optimally for print.

What if my Photo does not look right? 

As above, we will adjust the layout and photo so it prints optimally. You can also put comments in our checkout section to advise us, or send us an email, or call us on 07 5445 0063

If your photo isn't loading or you can't position it as you would like, you can email us the photo separately to and we will place it accordingly.

Will I get a Proof of my ordered Invitation? 

YES! Every order you make you will see your proof online before you submit your order.

Ordering your invitations through our site should be hassle free and time saving. There is no need for us to send you a proof to sign off on as you will preview a final proof prior to checkout. Once payment of your order has been received by Inviting Invitations you will receive an Adobe PDF via your nominated email address. 

It is recommended that you use the current version of Adobe reader to view this. If you see any errors after receiving your PDF, please contact us immediately.

What if I cannot find an invitation for my special event from your range online? 

If you have a special event which is not listed, Inviting Invites have a custom design service 'Just For You' and can design an invite for you and your event. Just email us at

Questions regarding PRICING:

Where are the hidden charges, or will I get asked to pay more later? 

It's amazing the amount of times we get asked if there are any extra costs involved. Unlike many other invitation companies you know what you will be charged in full up front.

We do not hide any known costs. The price you see in the order calculator is the price you will pay, before you commit to your order. 

We do not charge for envelopes - these are included - we charge delivery of express post at $18.00 - unless you want express print and post at $48, which speeds up the printing process to 4 day print turnaround.

We do not charge for print of your event details (that's included and all part of the product) - the only extra is for personalisation - and this is all shown upfront.

You can be assured of a quality product with no hidden charges.

Is there a discount for larger orders? 

Yes, upon request only. Please contact us to discuss your order type and quantity. Large order discounts only apply for more than 100 invitations or cards. 

Inviting Invites will send confirmation of your discount after your online order or for a custom design, in our quotation.

If ordering online, choose bank transfer so you don't pay the full amount without consulting us. This discount does not occur automatically and cannot be taken on existing discounts.

Is there a discount for further orders? 

Once you have placed and paid for your first order, all new printed product orders - such as invitations, Christmas cards and gift tags will attract a 10% customer discount. You will be sent a customer code to use on future printed product orders.

Do you charge to customise the text on your invitation designs?

Definitely NOT! 

Our site is created so that you can add the text of your choice, in a choice of fonts and font colours and sizing. We have no hidden charges, so you can be guaranteed that the price you see on the order calculator, before you commit to your order is the price you will pay - and NO more!

Do you have any charges for adjusting Photos? 

If you require any adjustments or amendments to your photo we will charge an admin fee of $10. This include cropping, colour change (colour to B&W, sepia etc), lightening etc.

If the photo does not fit the design through no fault of the website template, we will adjust the artwork to suit; however a $30 charge will apply.

We will contact you if necessary after reviewing your order to advise if your photo will print to our specifications

If you are in doubt or if your photo is not uploading properly or is not previewing correctly, you can still place your order by finalising your copy and emailing us the photo separately. We will position this into the design and send you a proof before printing.

Questions regarding the PERSONALISATION PROCESS: 

I'm not sure how to personalise my invitation / card in the online process? 

In order to ensure you can personalise your invitation / card to exactly what you want, please follow the below steps to help you through the customisation process: 

1. Enter your event details in the fields below

2. Select your choice of font type, colour and size

3. IMPORTANT Note - If you have chosen a design with more than a one page/side, click each page / side (see left) to edit selected pages

4. If your text or photo does not fit we will adjust this for you & send a revised proof

5. If you have selected more than one product, click each product above to personalise/edit each product ordered

6. The proof you see whilst you are personalising is NOT an exact display - this will be shown in the next step

Even though this is an online business there are still real people at the end of the website, and we check EVERYTHING before it goes near the printing press.

7. When you have finished, click preview at the bottom right of this page to preview an exact online proof

My Photo / Text does not fit into the template online?

Never fear! Our designer checks ALL orders before going to print. We will fix this up and send a revised proof for you to see before it goes to print. Simply give us 48 hours to do so. 

I would like to have my Guests' names printed onto the invitation, is this possible? 

Yes, we can print your Guests' names onto their invitation. This is included and no extra charges apply for guest names. You just need to select personalisation in the Order Box, then download the spreadsheet, complete the required details and email it back to us, prior to your order starting through our process.

Inviting Invites will not post your invitations directly to your Guests. Postage to your Guests is the responsibility of the customer. However, if you do require a quote for this fulfillment service, cost vary between $80 - $180 plus postage - depending on quantity and applicable postage charges. 

I need to have my invitations in another language? 

Not a problem. We just need you to supply a document with the wording in the language you require. We will then set the wedding invitation, christening or birthday invitation using your supplied text and send you a digital PDF to proof and approve. Once approved, we will start the printing process for your order.

My text does not appear to be in the right position during the personalisation stages? 

During the personalisation process, all measurements are approximate and a guideline only. Your text and uploaded photo may not appear in the correct position but when you select "Preview Proof" you will be shown an exact preview of your final invitations

Can I get a printed sample of the invitation I am looking to purchase for my event?

Yes, for digital printed invitations. Foil and wood attract a $15 sample fee to cover costs to produce a sample

We are unable to provide free samples to International addresses. Any order requesting this, will be cancelled and will not be dispatched.

How many free wedding invitation samples can I order?

A maximum of 2 designs are able to be selected for our free wedding invitation sample program. Orders of more than 2 free wedding invitation samples will be requested to be narrowed down to 2 design choices. All samples provided will be generic and will not include your personalised text.

Are Free Wedding Invitation Samples available for Custom Designs?

Sorry No. Printed samples for all Custom Designs attract a small fee of $25, to cover our print, postage and admin costs. We do suggest that for a Wedding Invitations with a colour change, that you order a print sample so you can be assured of your perfect colour choice.

Can I get a Digital 'proof' of my order?

Of course, Digital proofs are provided FREE of CHARGE for every order, excluding sample orders, as we supply generic non-personalised samples. E-invites are charged at $40 if you want a JPG E-invite.

Is your Online Payment System secure?

Yes, we are with St. George, owned by Westpac.  Each payment is a secure transaction through a St. George Bank Payment Gateway. Inviting Invitations does not have full access or keep files of your full payment details, in order to provide you peace of mind that all credit card payment details are conducted directly with St. George Bank.

Is payment by Credit Card the only online option for payment?

No, we also offer the option of payment via Bank Transfer. Please contact us to arrange this, as it is not an option on our web site. Please allow 1 - 2 business days for funds to be received and upon confirmation of payment, you will receive a PDF or your order

What is my obligation as a customer of Inviting Invites, in relation to Photography Copyright?

If a photograph has been taken by a professional, the photographer owns that Copyright, unless you have a written agreement that states otherwise. By Agreeing to our Terms & Conditions, you accept that you have written permission to reproduce and distribute the photograph and indemnify Inviting Invites / Inviting Invitations from any liability associated with the photograph that you have uploaded.

My invitation looks a bit fuzzy in the final preview stage?

Your final preview may look slightly fuzzy, however Inviting Invites' use the high res version of your invitations for final printing, so you can be assured of a good picture quality. If we feel that the photo will not produce a high quality print result, we will endeavour to let you know and request either a higher resolution version of the photo or an alternative photo.

What is the best file format and file size, for uploading during the ordering process?

We can only accept .jpg files for uploading. Further, in order to provide a quality output they should ideally be high quality and sized between 550KB - 2MB, but not larger than 4MB. As larger files will not upload.

Any smaller resolution photos (less than 500KB) will result in lower quality print results. If uploading from a digital camera, please ensure your camera software or email software does not compress the file, as some computers do this automatically, making the file size smaller. If scanning a photo, please select 300dpi resolution


Can I order 1 or 2 more invitations, after I have received my initial order?

Our minimum re-order quantity is 12, so we therefore recommend that for every order, you purchase at least 5 blanks invitations. These can be used for last minute Guests or keep sakes and avoid the hassle if one or two invitations are damaged, misplaced or go missing during your postage process.

Where do you deliver my order to?

Whilst our print and operations team are based in Queensland, we deliver Australia Wide and overseas. 

When should I expect my order to arrive? 

Please allow at least 7 working days for your order to be 'dispatched', from 'final' placement of your order (this includes guests lists, payment or any other changes we may be waiting on authorisation from you for). 

If you need to make any changes to the design, either picture, wording, colour changes or quantity, 7 working days takes effect from finalisation of the design. 

The same applies for our Express Print and Post* 5 day delivery option* You must be in an express next day delivery area for us to meet this delivery. See 

Print cannot commence until all items of your order are approved and finalised.

Pocket wedding invitations are a MINIMUM delivery of 12 working days. If you have chosen Express Print and Post, we will dispatch the order on the 4th full working day (i.e: order placed after 5pm on a Monday - 4 day print & post should be dispatched on the Friday of the same week)

Print commences 12 hours after time of final approval, payment & receipt of all guest lists. 

You will receive an email, advising that your order has been dispatched from our office in Queensland. Please contact us if you do not receive your order as per the instructions on the email.

What quality of paper / card is the final product printed onto?

Our designs are printed on high quality card stocks, not on glossy photo paper and in our process the final product prints with texture and not as a glossy photograph

I have forgotten my password, what do I do?

No need to panic, just follow the steps to generate a new password and an email will be sent to you, with your new password. Once received, we encourage all Members to change their passwords to something they are familiar with, which is different to other passwords you may have, is unique and only known by you.
